Arkle Holiday Cottage in Ullapool
Arkle is a spacious bungalow which has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Interior decoration is a natural palette, oak and slate flooring making it contemporary with a hint of the Highlands. All the rooms have off-peak storage heaters so even in winter you will always be warm. Arkle is situated on Market Street which is a conservation area in the picturesque fishing village of Ullapool and is within easy walking distance of all the local amenities.
The bungalow has one double bedroom, one twin and one bunk room and can sleep 6 persons comfortably. All the bedrooms have wash-hand basins and fitted wardrobes. The bathroom has a large bath and shower and wash-hand basin.
The open-plan lounge is bright and spacious with a bay window overlooking the tree lined street. There's a solid fuel stove – ideal for those days and nights when you want to have a cosy and relaxing time indoors rather than enjoy the magnificent scenery of North West Scotland. A TV and DVD player is provided. The dining area has a large window which overlooks the garden and Ullapool Hills (A recommended walk). The modern kitchen is fully equipped with hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a washer-dryer.
French windows lead from the kitchen to a decked area which is ideal for barbecues using the equipment provided.
The large garden is well-secured which makes it perfect for children to play in.
